This project was a highway expansion of I-66 from 3 lanes to 5 lanes in either direction for 22 miles from Fairfax, VA to the Beltway. It included installation of 2 managed toll lanes, complete reconstruction of all lanes, and reconstruction of 23 overpass bridges. It also installed new park-n-ride parking lots to accommodate ~4,000 new vehicles. CPG’s responsibilities included Design schedule development and maintenance, utility relocation schedule development, construction schedule development, schedule adherence data visualization and weekly KPI metrics, and engineering GAP analysis and process improvement efforts.
